Experienced Guides
As ex-teachers we run an informative tour telling you about the history of the area and New Zealand in general......and stop at lots of points of interest along the way. With a maximum of 11 passengers we like to keep our tours small, friendly and interactive.
Our smaller vehicle allows us to get onto some of the more scenic roads that are not suitable for big bus tours and keep away from the crowds.
Our other area of expertise is South Island Tours which we can adapt to suit your needs. Dermot.
Beautiful Sites
E S Tours offers private day excursions from Port Lyttelton to Christchurch / Akaroa /Arthur's Pass for cruise ship passengers.
For those arriving by cruise ship at Akaroa (50 miles from Christchurch) we can arrange tours to Christchurch and Banks Peninsula.
If you have more time the South Island is the perfect destination in terms of natural beauty.....we have it all....wild beaches....high mountains....serene lakes.....unspoilt forest.....ocean views...... culture, cities and excitement too.
E S Tours
We have been operating tours in the South Island of New Zealand since 1995 and have enjoyed showing visitors all corners of this beautiful island. Having a teaching background we have a strong emphasis on looking after small groups and ensuring you have a great time. We are based in Lyttelton, the port of Christchurch.
Our vehicle is an 11 passenger comfortable Toyota Minibus with air-con, reclining seats and a hard-wired PA system for a clear commentary. We are NZTA approved to operate small and large Passenger Service Vehicles which are regularly checked under the COF system.
Have a bigger group ? Contact us....we have comfortable 22 seater or 33 seater buses available if needed.
We follow standard NZ Government COVID protocols,
also daily cleaning of touch surfaces with sanitizer,
access to masks and hand gel if required and use of microphone for commentary to minimize risk. Driver/guides are fully vaccinated against COVID19.
